Again, I left it sitting overnight to see if it was just taking a long time to update. I looked it up and I found that it usually takes upwards of 3-4 hours depending on how dirty the disk drive is.

On the HP startup screen it said "Scanning and repairing drive (C:): 0%." After a while, it went to 1% but it never got past that. I decided to restart my computer to see if that would fix the issue. Also, at this point, I couldn't do anything on my computer because every time I opened something it would take anywhere from around 1-10 minutes to open, and then if I tried to click on anything it would stop responding. I went into Big Picture mode and the download was rapidly starting and immediately stopping over and over. Every few seconds, GTA V would stop updating with something along the lines of "failed to update GTA V (disk drive error.)" I decided to let it update overnight and it got to 67 percent before it wouldn't update anymore. Nothing was able to update because "not enough space" even though I still had over 100 gigs left on the drive.

I decided to download and attempt to run the game on my Windows 10 laptop. On Sunday I had bought a few games on steam, one of those being GTA V.
